Jaydon Banel is a right-footed left-winger - occasionally also active as a central striker - who started playing for Zeeburgia (Amsterdam) before he came to Ajax where he remained an icon of the club’s educational programme. He currently is a player for Ajax U18 and the UEFA Youth League U19.
On October 2, 2021, Jaydon scored the winning goal with a header in the 'dying seconds' of the extra time in the game (mini-classic) against Feyenoord. He also struck in this way against Sparta U18. On October 19, 2021, he scored the 1-1 against Dortmund (Youth League).
