Joshua Pynadath is a very agile right-footed winger / striker and multiple American youth international who played in the youth academy of Real Madrid as a young talent - after also spending a test period at Barcelona's La Masia academy. Joshua came to the Netherlands in the summer of 2015 and since then he has spent five seasons in Ajax's youth academy, which he left voluntarily in the summer of 2020. He has been training at Chelsea since the spring of 2021, where he left a positive impression during a trial period.
Joshua is a technical player with fast pace and acceleration, an excellent first touch and fine dribbling skills. Joshua presents his skills with flair and bravery but also has a good overview when he is off the ball.
